Why can’t you rain in different places that need rain? In summer, we are supposed to have lots of sun! Now all the cows and sheep on farms have been washed away! Who told you to come to New Zealand? Where did you get all that rain from? You have even ruined a school camp! Now more than 10 schools have to close down! Instead, could you rain a little bit at a time?

We brainstormed words that were related to the weather and displayed them on the wall of the class.

Breakout!
This week in class we participated in a breakout. In groups, we had to look for clues around the class and solve problems to open a box that was locked with 4 different locks. We had to use thinking, problem-solving, communication skills and a lot of perseverance.

Swimming Carnival
We had a great time at the Middle Syndicate Swimming Carnival on Friday. Nearly 200 students participated in 3 events, showing what they can do in the water.
