Temple Trip

To start our learning journey of finding out about other cultures the Middle School classes made a trip to the Buddhist temple in Flatbush.

We saw lots of interesting things and found out some information. The main message we learned was the '3 Gs'.  That is: think good thoughts, say good words and do good deeds.

One of the favourite things was the lovely brownie that we were given for morning tea. Yum!

Well done to Regan who came 2nd in a BMX competition in the weekend. He competed in the 9 Years Mixed Speedy Wheels category.  He had to complete 14 races and came 2nd overall.
