On Friday Brodie and Carolyn demonstrated a maths trick. Nolan started with the last two digits of a phone number he knew. The girls then asked him to perform some calculations by adding, subtracting and multiplying numbers on a calculator. The answer he got was nine. That was the same number that Brodie had written on a piece of paper and given to another student to hold before they began the trick.
Room 17 had a go at some advanced paper cutting. Wycinanki is a traditional Polish folk art. The cutouts were used by Polish peasants to decorate their houses.
